Kentridge Players’ fall musical production The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will run from November 28 – December 8 at Kentridge High School’s Performing Arts Center.
The musical comedy centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups.
Shows run Wednesday-Saturday at 7:00 pm. Two additional Saturday matinees are scheduled for 2:00 pm. The musical is suitable for a PG13 audience, said a spokesperson.
