Free Face Masks at Northwood Today

King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn and Fire District 40 are partnering this Thursday, August 20 to give out thousands of both disposable and reusable cotton masks to local residents at Northwood Middle School. The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., while supplies last.

“I’m glad to be able to offer face masks to folks who are doing the good work of caring for their neighbors and loved ones through social distancing,” Dunn said. “I’m proud of our communities for banding together to slow the spread of COVID-19, and these masks will help them continue to do that.”

“Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe during these trying times. We look forward to seeing you as we resume our normal activities as the phases advance,” said the Fire District 40 Commissioners.

Drive-thru service will be provided in order to support public health social distancing guidelines. Staff members, including Fire District 40 Commissioners and firefighters, will be on hand to direct traffic and hand out face masks so that residents do not need to leave their cars.
